Bay State Physical Therapy

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with my physical therapist and wanted to share in case it helps someone else who’s on the fence about starting PT, or is simply looking for a place that feels like a good fit.

In just a month, I’ve already noticed real improvements in my pain levels, mobility, and flexibility. I’m even sleeping better. That alone would be worth it, but what really stands out to me is the atmosphere. My therapist is not only skilled but also incredibly patient—especially with someone like me who gets nervous and fidgety in public settings. I can be a lot to get to know at first, so it’s definitely worth noting. She genuinely seems to understand that everyone heals differently and meets me where I’m at, which in my case makes a huge difference.

The whole team seems to genuinely enjoy what they do, which is rare and honestly a little refreshing. There’s a lightness and energy in the space that makes the sessions fly by. I’ve had PT in the past that felt more grueling than anything of gain, but here, it feels purposeful and—even, dare I say—somewhat enjoyable. The positivity in the room is contagious, and somehow that makes me want to work harder. I leave each session feeling encouraged, not just physically but mentally too.

I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t also mention that the receptionist is, quite plausibly, the nicest lady on the planet.

I highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone who is looking for physical therapy.

Physical therapy has been a blessing for my daughter over the last two years, and I truly appreciate everything this team has done for her. From day one, they treated us like family. Maura, our main physical therapist, has been incredible patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my daughter’s progress. Had an overall great experience with baystate physical therapy, I spent a lot of time with Joey and Maura on my back issues and this was the first time I've seen a physical therapist that decided to focus on my postural issues and offer unique and different exercises that I haven't done before. Wow, my back isn't 100% better. It's at least 75% better and I now have better ways of managing my pain.
