Ece is an amazing person. She introduced me very gently to the wonders of acupuncture and eastern medicine. Not only did she help me with the problem I went for, she fixed other things, too! Her studio is cozy, warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend this practice!
I've only been to Ece a few times, but I definitely recommend her practice. All of the acupuncturists I've seen before in Boston have a certain style, which I assume is because they all went to New England School of Acupuncture; Ece went to a different school, and has a completely different style. She's the first acupuncturist I've ever had who has actually monitored my condition during the treatment, and she adjusts her plans based on how your body reacts instead of just doing the same things every time and then saying "how was it?". Her treatment is much more responsive than I am used to but I can only think it's a good thing. Also, it has happened many times that I have thought, "It would be really good if she would put a needle right in that particular spot" a split second before she put one exactly where I was thinking. I don't know how she does it but she's very good at it, on top of being very friendly and caring. She also will trust your opinion on what would work for you. Definitely give her a shot!
Ece came to my house for a treatment when I was 8 days post-partum and dealing with some very clogged and uncomfortable milk ducts. She explained the theory behind the clogs and the various points she was working on. Within an hour or two I began to notice some differences and within 24 hours the clogs were almost completely gone! I had been worried that these clogs would lead to mastitis and this treatment really helped turn things in a better direction. Ece's calm and kind demeanor made me feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout the treatment. I would highly recommend her for acupuncture!
