I got into fine wood working in the past year and struggled to find quality wood. I was always going to lowes or Home Depot and getting bent over sideways for wood that was either warped or cupped. It was a struggle to even find a couple of boards that were decent enough to work with. I remember paying 56 dollars for a 6ft piece of red oak. I found E.L Morse lumber by chance and I was glad I did. I paid 48 bucks for a beautiful piece of red oak that was 11 ft long and straight as an arrow. They cut the board into 3 pieces for me free as charge and even offered to mill it down to the thickness I needed. I refused the milling just so I could use my bench planer lol. I was super impressed with the customer service. Everyone was friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will be returning to this place for all my future projects. I have a deck and side door steps that I will be working on in the future and look forward to working with these guys to achieve all my needs. I just wish they were open a little later since I work close by and but get out at 4:30 which is the same time they close.
