Driving for 25 years through Malden and Wakefield for the M.B.T.A. taking Suzanne from Main St. Shoe repair, back and forth to work, sharing stories of our families, and her telling me all the hard work it is to be a cobbler, I finally had the opportunity to have her work on a pair of shoes I had. Other than the worn soles and heels, the shoes were in really good shape,and they fit like a glove and I had to make a decision on getting new ones or fixing the old ones and let me tell you , having Suzanne restore those shoes was the best decision!! So first off. Let me tell you that this was a long time coming. I gave her my shoes months ago (2-3). I needed the soles repaired because they were breaking off and worn down. They are period shoes I use for reenacting. So I need to go to a cobbler to get them fixed.When I gave her the shoes she said she needed one month and to come back. I said okay. So one month past and she said she was still working on them and to come back later.I then came back two weeks after and she said she is still TRYING to figure out the best way to repair the shoes. Professional, caring, helpful and easygoing. You will love this lady immediately. She did excellent job on repairing my shoes. She even did extra work and only charged me the minimum.
