There's a reason why this place has only good reviews. First of all, the line is always long which is a very good sign. Second of all the food is incredible. You can tell that it's cooked with love, and everyone who works there is actually Caribbean so it is very authentic. I highly recommend this place. They also have many options to meet all dietary needs! And of course I love it even more because it's Black owned!
I was initially a little shocked by the price but quickly realized that everything on Martha's Vineyard is a little pricy. The food itself was quite delicious. The J*** Chicken was juicy, tender, and just the right amount of spicy. It came with a side of veggies that were seasoned well and plantains.
I only stopped by for the rum cake and it was yummy! Nice and moist. My besties also liked it. I did not taste as much rum as I could have, but it was all good. On my next trip, I hope to try the escovitch fish.
