Taunton Cat Hospital is a highly recommended veterinary practice that specializes in feline care. They pride themselves on being a gold level certified Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), ensuring a positive experience for cats and their owners. The hospital is known for its exceptional and caring staff who go above and beyond to make visits as stress-free as possible for anxious cats. They utilize techniques such as speaking quietly, moving slowly, and even conducting examinations on the floor to minimize a cat's feelings of vulnerability. The use of FELIWAY-infused towels and diffusers further contributes to a calming atmosphere. Owners consistently praise the hospital's friendly environment and the doctors' willingness to explain medical conditions in detail. One owner shared their experience with a particularly skittish cat who, after a visit to Taunton Cat Hospital, only hid for half an hour compared to the usual hours of hiding after a visit to a typical veterinary clinic. They are considered the best place to bring cats in the area, with owners expressing their trust and confidence in the entire team at Taunton Cat Hospital.
