I have been going here for easily over 20 years. I have literally grown with the practice. I have always been able to call them with every problem imaginable and more. When I had a medical issue but no one in the area knew how to handle it so they would just turn you away I ended up speaking to specialists in other areas of the country and in different countries, they were very helpful in sharing the information for the drs here so I printed out everything and shared it with my primary care Dr in Swansea, he immediately called the hospital and had me admitted and he started following the protocol as shared to help me heal. I have been a patient of Katherine Benevides/Dr. James Lippincott for over 15 years. I primarily see Kathy Benevides, FNP and she's absolutely the best. Caring, a good listener, compassionate, thorough. The office staff is polite and friendly. I cannot find a fault with the practice.

I have been with this practice for appx 15 years. The doctors are great!! However, there has been a lot of employee turn over, especially the front end, which has effected the way patients are treated. They don't seem to care about the patients as they can be short and rude. On top of that, I think merging with SouthCoast was a big mistake. Many things that made Swansea Family Practice so great was the fact that everything was done in-house, fast & efficiently by their employees. Now everything is done at SouthCoasts central call center which takes forever to get anything done. I was sad to see so many of the front end staff leave, as well as many other familiar faces....read full review
