With psychiatry being under significant scrutiny in the media right now, I felt compelled to write an extremely well-deserved review for Lynne at Healing Minds Psychiatry.
I have worked with many psychiatric providers over the years, including providers at Bradley and Butler, and unfortunately, I have had experiences that significantly impacted my trust in the field. Right before coming to Lynne, I had an especially difficult experience where I was prescribed more than 15 different medications over the course of just four months. Understandably, that experience left me feeling discouraged and hesitant about seeking psychiatric care again.

I have never met a prescriber who listens so intently, has this much compassion and has your best intentions in mind. Dr Barry wants to help you succeed! Like a breath of fresh air in the midst of all the online and corporate neuropsych firms. Dr Barry continues to educate themselves on treatments and updated DSMs to make sure you get the quality treatment you deserve.
Lynne is the best. I always finish my session feeling lifted up. I’m able to speak to Lynne about anything without feeling embarrassed. Some days I’m so overwhelmed I think I just can’t see the light, but talking to her just know there is hope. Thank you Lynne
