My teenage son had a serious knee injury (patellar tendon rupture and broke his tibia) and, over the course of about 3 months, Laura was cautious yet worked him through a wide range of exercises primarily in the pool when he was not able to do much on land, and then in the weight room. She made it fun, and most importantly, he progressed safely and quickly in his recovery. During the pool PT portion of my son's recovery, Laura collaborated beautifully, and multiple times, with another physical therapist who saw my son as well as the surgeon and the surgeon's office team. Laura is a lovely person who took interest in my son as an individual and also took interest in and cared about our family (as these types of injuries affect the whole family!). His deep tissue massage is exceptionally deep, and I was able to book for 2-hour blocks, which not all therapists provide. Additionally, Chris has multiple backgrounds of training and stays abreast of advances in the field, so he was able to provide holistic treatment and offer exercise recommendations that helped me improve mobility and treat the sources of pain/tension. This helped me extend the time I could go between visits before returning. But, nevertheless, Chris is a fun and humorous person to be around, making the experience even more enjoyable, beyond the great treatment.“
