This is one of my first and favorite barber shops to go to aside from sport clips center for short men styled haircuts. I really enjoy the people at this shop, they treat each other with respect as coworkers and to their clientele! For somebody who does not really speak too much, I just enjoy the environment that this shop has which is pleasant. I have long and thick hair that gets a bit stiff, so would suggest others not to come in with bedhead hair or with product if they looking for a deep hair cut. (This also makes the haircut go by faster if your not looking into staying too long as other places would be.) I also get short faded haircuts, for people who's hair can grow back fast. The tools or techniques at this shop compared to other shop "clips" makes it seem like my hair grows back slower which I like that reduces my need to return to the shop. Their online booking is very easy as well, would also suggest booking than a walk in just because you can see their booking schedules. Eases the process as a client and for the barber. I have been scheduling cuts with Jeremy who usually gets the job done very quick. He is owner of the shop, he seems caring too in trying to help his team in ways to develop their skills further. Respect.
Atmosphere was great. They had the college football games on which I'm a huge fan of sports in general. My main barber Casey greeted me but all the other barbers engaged with me too. We talked about sports the whole time which I can go on and on with. My hair came out excellent. Me personally it's hard to find black barbers In California so I was very pleased when my hair came Out the way it did will deff be returning. But if you read this book with Casey. For sure worth it
I had to get a trim before my daughter's wedding and sought a local business. Main Event was suggested by my daughter's fiancee as a great option. I was greeted warmly by the the staff and patron, giving the first time out-of-towner a really good feeling about the place. Cool decor with a contemporary, streamlined look that I found attractive. Casey, my barber welcomed me into his chair and went to work. A half hour of engaging dialog later, the deed was done and I Iook good (if do say so myself.) My barber, Casey was masterful with his barbering and I was very impressed. Who knew that a brother could get cut so professionally in Northern California. Well, you can. Check out Main Event in Concord and tell them the old playa from Brooklyn sent you.
