For years I have been avoiding dentists because of all the traumatic experiences I’ve had. I was never taken seriously whenever I expressed that local anesthetics didn’t work on me. My first time at Taylor Street Dental I explained my Dentophobia and my tooth pain. Everyone took my concerns seriously and made sure I was very comfortable. They explained everything that was being done so I didn’t get any surprises. I needed a root canal and was offered nitrous oxide to help with my anxiety. This was a game changer. I never even felt the needle going in. I put on my AirPods full volume and let them do their work. I believe I may have fallen asleep during the procedure. I woke up without any pain and relaxed. Since then I’ve had a few fillings and my teeth no longer bother me. Going to the dentist doesn’t make me anxious anymore thanks to the dentists and staff. It may be pricey bc my insurance is crap. To me it’s worth it because I know I am getting quality service and am no longer anxious going in.
