Oak Grove Cemetery hours of operation does not support the working class families. Being closed on the weekends is truly a disservice to our community! Here's a simple & fair schedule suggestion:
Mon - Friday 8:00AM - 6:30PM
Sat - Sunday 9:00AM - 3:00PM

The fact that a cemetery closes at 4:00 p.m. is ridiculous. I used to live in Mass but we're located to Connecticut. I want to visit my brother at the site but I have a 9:00 to 5 job so any planning is always out the window cuz I have a small time frame to get there at 5:00 would probably be the time that I make it but it's already closed Gates shut and no way to get in a reasonable time to shut down or close up would be around 7:30

This place truly makes sad situations even sadder. Our son & I have been leaving things for my sons father since he passed a little over a year ago and they either throw the items away that same day or the next day. I actually caught them once too. I’ve followed all rules and regulations so it’s nothing to do with that. They have a private company come do lawn care and they truly have no compassion or understanding in their lives clearly. Not only that they’re not following the rules and regulations at that point themselves! There has to be some kind of mutual understanding met between cemetery owners and families who expect our loved ones to rest here peacefully....read full review
