Mobil Car Wash

Mobil Car Wash is a combination car wash and gas station. It's just one automatic bay, and a vacuum outside. The value really can't be beat. $7 gets you the most expensive wash. This is basically the same wash as the $6 option, but it washes for twice as long, and dries for twice as long. This is all self serve. You pull up, put your money in the vending machine thing, and drive in. It doesn't accept credit cards, which is something I've grown accustomed to at automatic car washes. When you pull into the bay, you have to drive up onto a platform. It's a little wonky getting it just right. You drive forward, hit a ramp, the light turns red and buzzes (think buzzer in a hockey game), your car bounces back, the light turns green again, and you start the process all over again until you get in the 2mm wide sweet spot. After you're on the platform, you pretty much just sit back and chill for a while. The platform moves you back and forth. With suds on your windshield, it might look like you're about to be slammed into the wall. Good times. One huge plus is that the dryer moves alongside your car. I can't stand when I have to drive past the dryers, because I never realize what's going on until I've already sped past half of my car. This is more of a gas station than a car wash. It's one bay and some vacuums. I think there are two vacuums. It's not bad, and it's cheap. I'll definitely go back again.
