He was very helpful in explaining how the siding system should work to prevent leaks, and efforts his team makes to ensure things are done correctly. He quickly provided an initial estimate with different options, and was quick to follow up with quotes for some additional work we considered. NEW ROOF. I chose Solid State Construction for my re-roof project because of their design efforts to solve an attic ventilation problem. Original construction had double the ridge venting needed for proper air flow which had caused problems over the past 20+ years. They weren’t just working on the exterior of the roof, but considered the attic and the roofing as a system. Once the design was settled it was just a matter of completing the work as specified.
