About Bridge of Flowers
The Bridge of Flowers is a picturesque spot with beautiful foliage and scenery. The pedestrian-only bridge, repurposed from an old trolley bridge from 1908, is lined with amazing flowers and flowering shrubs from April to October. Visitors can enjoy the lovely Deerfield River views and explore the cute shops and eateries on either side of the bridge. There are several restaurants where guests can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks, and a candy and coffee shop along with a general store offering all kinds of goodies. The bridge features pot holes in the stones in the river, which are worth checking out. The visitor's building provides ideas for things to do in the area, including visiting the train museum on weekends. Note that dogs are not allowed on the bridge. This free attraction is a great starting point to explore the towns of Shelburne Falls and Buckland, and donations are appreciated to support the gardeners' efforts. Although some flowers may not be in full bloom during certain times, the display of flowers and growth hanging off the side of the bridge is always a delight, making it a lovely place to spend the day.

It's exciting to see the bridge being rehabbed though we knew this year was not going to be the best for flowers. Everything needs to grow and take hold next year. We'll see the fabulous display of flowers and growth that hangs off the side of the bridge. Still a great way to spend the day
This bridge is stunningly beautiful. We stayed in this small town just because I saw this on Google Maps planning our road trip. It was worth it. We had breakfast in town and then walked off the calories with multiple trips back and forth across this bridge. What a truly special place that should be protected for ages to come.
