Amazing and friendly service by a wonderful team of Kenyan, American professionals. Ruth, shanila and Rose are always going above and beyond, always doing their best to work with your
schedule and will never turn you down. I’ve had my Retwist done by Ruth especially and she’s always going above and beyond, recommending the best styling plans for me, and truly making me really satisfied with the results. Absolutely the best in all of Boston and the Northeast!
Rosie has been very, very good with my microlocs. I had a few demands. I’m picky about loctitians and very tender headed. I told Rosie that I’m sensitive at our first appointment and she made sure that they were nice and neat but that the retie was not super tight. I am always done in a reasonable time, and I have a lotttt of hair. She is highly skilled in and my hair has never been healthier. I get compliments all the time at functions about how my hair looks like it’s thriving and not just surviving!
Also unlike the tropes about Black hair salons, when I set an appointment we start on time (in fact I’m the one that’s sometimes a little late 🫢). All...read full review
I’ve been coming to this shop for 2 years. Rose is the fourth loctician I tried since moving to Boston and she has a loyal client now. She knows her craft, she’s fast and her sister Ruth who did my hair when Rose was on leave is also great! I get my locs interlocked and it’s not easy to find this service with someone who actually is skilled in it.
