I've been a patient of Dr. Tao for over 10 years. As a holistic practitioner, I have sent dozens of clients to him. Why, because he gets results. He is hyper focused Doctor and knows exactly the questions to ask and is studying everything about you to reach his logical conclusion. He is a brilliant man. Those who are used to traditional doctors who ask a series of exhaustive questions should stick with their typical, prescription pad Doctors. Dr. Tao asks specific, targeted questions and he simply wants a direct answer. I saw Dr Tao about three years for menopause-related anxiety, depression, insomnia and loss of libido. He treated me with herbs, cupping and acupuncture for about 18 months. The acupuncture/cupping treatments were sheer heaven.... Honestly, I'm not sure they had much lasting effect after I left the building, and sure once or twice the needles could be a little uncomfortable, but lying there on the treatment table, with the music playing, while they did their work, was exquisite. I visited Dr. Tao when I was overdue with my baby. I was unfamiliar with acupuncture, but he came highly recommend by my sister, who had gone for a session when she was also overdue (the goal being to avoid medical induction). Well, it worked on both of us! Dr. Tao has a kind and comforting presence and while I have a huge fear of needles, I actually found acupuncture to be very relaxing and enjoyable. I left feeling like I was on cloud 9. He said to come back in two days if I didn't go into labor, but no need - a day later, and baby girl was on her way! I would definitely like to go back in the future.
