Their balayage process is different from the standard techniques you typically see, and you can really tell how meticulous and intentional they are. I had such a great experience at this salon with Evan Z.! I came in with really long, dry hair and originally asked if he could cut it very short. Evan was honest with me and said no because my hair is very thick and he knew I likely wouldn’t be happy with the end result. I really respect a hairstylist who isn’t afraid to be honest with their client and prioritize what will actually look best rather than just doing exactly what they’re asked.
The salon experience itself was also amazing. The hair washing area has a mirror on the ceiling, which was such a cool touch, and whatever products they used made my hair feel incredibly soft and silky afterward.

I’m from Chicago and unfamiliar with this area, so I was nervous to try someplace new. However, I was desperate for a haircut.
I’m so glad I came across this place. Ken was incredibly kind and has been doing this for 17 years to this day! From our conversation, he worked in the Downtown Boston area and opened his first salon here, the salon is 4 years old. His experience and genuine love of what he does made me feel safe that my hair was in good hands. I need to mention how well he takes care of the staff. Everyone from the greeter and hair washer.
