A broken phone caused so much miscommunication. I have now got in touch with the contractor.
Apparently my number did not show up on the new phone. So normal calling wan't work. Normal calling well not work due to telemarketing. Thanks telemarketing outside of this establishment for making communication difficult.
I used to work out of a service van and am all too familiar with telemarketing wasting and taking my attention away from objectives.

My recommendation is to speed call these folks so they know you are a person.

Crawford Construction was very nice to work with on a pergola project. They were excellent at communicating and we look forward to working with them in the future!

Brandon was one of the only general contractors to answer the phone when calling about a job I needed done quickly. I had plumbing work needed to be done - but there was a floor joist in the way. Brandon was able to assess the work on the day of the call, and come back as soon as I was available to let him in (not living in the house yet). He worked quickly - the joist was removed and re-supported cleanly and professionally. Price was fair, and work was very well done. I'll be reaching out to him in the future for some more serious remodel work!
