All of my colonoscopy follow up appointments have been with Chris Caffrey NP. He is excellent. He explains everything clearly and thoroughly and listens attentively. Chris is a most knowledgeable, competent professional. I could not be happier with the comprehensive appointments Chris provides.
This was my second '5 year' colonoscopy with these folks. Again I give them an A. From the moment I called them till I was being wheeled back out to the parking lot things went very smoothly. And though I am still tired from the prep, bad sleep the night before and so forth I had to write how wonderfully I was taken care of. Yes, it can be hard to reach them on the phone but I did a few times and a few times I left a message and had my call returned same or next day. And the questions I had were answered with care and I felt like I was not alone as these days; ask around, if you even need to, but the old culture of lots of time with any health provider office is 'gone baby gone' (And I'm on the anxious side of things when it comes to medical stuff). But, what really blew me away was their care when I got to Milford Hospital for the procedure. Dr. Crimaldi, the anesthesiology team, the general staff, the nurses on the floor and those in the room during the colonoscopy, and the volunteer wheel chair pushers were top notch-as well as a bit down to earth to help take the edge off. My medical hx and needs were double/triple checked, I was made comfortable with blankets and chit-chat, asked a few times if there was anything they could answer for me, and more. As a psychologist specializing in anxiety I can tell you few folks from airline workers to dental practices know much about how to make a 'nerved up' situation much better... while doing their jobs at a high level-but these folks have it down. And I felt very comfortable with how I was going to be put under and the expertise and confidence of the folks caring for me. The procedure went roughly on time, I slept like a baby being put out with out realizing it at all , and was told right when I woke up that all was fine and how to reconnect with my wife in the waiting area. I feel extremely fortunate to have such top notch care at Milfored G.A. and Milford hospital-- equal to or better than what I have received in all the big hospitals in Boston (at 60 I've had my share of doctor visits). Best of luck.
Made an appointment for my Colonoscopy at this Milford location. The front office staff was very nice and attentive. The Assistant was fine. The PA David who discussed the process had minimal customer service ability and lack of compassion. A cold fish. He was more concerned about irrelevant non issues not related to this procedure which my doctor was well aware. I am under the believe because I had "no real" underlying health issues missing vaccinations (Covid, etc...) on the provided report he had an issue with me which was very visible. I should have looked at these reviews as others noted prior. I cancelled actual procedure and decided to travel to my last doctor.
