I recently treated myself to a three day classical dressage riding package at Sons of the Wind at their Merrimac, MA location. I took two lessons a day for three days, taught by enthusiastic, well-educated instructors, aboard a generous Lusitano schoolmaster. The ability to observe other lessons and training sessions was an important and inspirational element of the whole experience. I learned so much in a short time and am still assimilating my experience in my riding back at home.

I spent this September 1-5 getting some of the most intense and best possible instruction in classical horsemanship possible in the US. Vitor is truly a master horseman in every way. I needed some serious help to continue leveling towards Grand prix work and I could not have asked for a better environment; horses, Vitor's guidance and all of the staff made my stay incomparable. I will be continuing my work with them in January 2027. I can hardly wait.
Sons Of The wind is an absolutely wonderful place to spend time improving your horseback riding skills. The horses are magnificent, beautifully trained and wonderful teachers. I learned so much while I was there and have already put some of it into practice with my own Horse back home. Highly recommended!
