I recently acquired a rescue dog who, at 50 lbs, is more than 3 times as big as the toy dog that I used to own. For years--prior to using groomers--I had bathed my toy dog on my own in the utility sink at home, with a special hose that attaches to the faucet. Bathing my new rescue dog by myself seemed like quite a daunting task, however. Although she is very well-behaved, I knew that a wet, unhappy 50-lb dog could wreak a lot of havoc. Fortunately, I had heard great things about this place, so I took my new rescue dog there. This business supplies everything that you need: tub, ramp, shampoo (including fragrance-free, if you ask), aprons, towels, blow dryer, etc. The employees, although busy grooming other dogs, are very helpful when it comes to getting you started. One employee helped get my dog up the ramp and into the tub, and secured the neck strap on her. I was anxious at first as my dog flailed around, but--with my help-- she learned that pulling on the neckstrap would only make it tighter. At the end, she got spooked by the blowdryer, but--thanks to the big, deep tub and the neckstrap--I was able to keep her safe while I put down the blowdryer, gave her some reassuring hugs, and toweled her dry.Managing this first dog bath could have been a real disaster without the equipment at Medway Dog Wash and the help of the employees there. I am very grateful to them for their help, and I feel that the very modest fee that they charge makes the self-wash there a true bargain.

The staff at Medway DogWash has always been extremely helpful and pleasant. I have never felt rushed I would and have recommended to people. The way you can have your dog walk up the ramp into the tub really saves your back. The choices of soap is great. I like the "southern Gentleman " for my dog. Everything you need is right there for you to use. Best part is you don't have a mess at home to clean up when your don!

I love the self serve dog wash!! It's so easy and convenient. The staff are helpful too, they grabbed some cookies and helped me get my 95lb scaredy-cat into the tub when they saw me struggling. They provide you with all the supplies and will handle the hair mess when you are all done so it's a win win!! When I was checking out the kind lady at the front desk gave me some samples to go home with when I mentioned how I really enjoyed one of the shampoos scents. That was really sweet of her!!
