    Scheduled service pickup schedule is not consistent. Regular pickups are often delayed or skipped. Skipped service dates require calls to get credit for missed services. Communications on delayed or missed services are not well communicated. Notices are generally after services are delayed or missed. Customer service hours are limited, and difficult to reach. No good solutions for missed pickups, just wait for next pickup causing trash and recycles to build up beyond weekly capacity. Very poor at keeping to a regular scheduled service.

    Our previous trash service stopped serving our area, and we were very keen to work with WM (their self-proclaimed environmental commitment, their dependability, etc). The Service was fine until a few months ago when they frequently missed pick ups (sometimes consecutive pickups, which is a real drag). They billed us for those pick ups and did not reimburse us until we called. We have a "three strikes" policy about service providers, and we tried time and again to work with them but, candidly, they are simply not dependable in this area.

    I attempted to start home service with WM at the start of June with the drop off date for the trash and recycling bings set for the week of July 10th. A week before the bins were scheduled to be dropped off i received an email saying the delivery was delayed until July 19th.Today on July 18th i received another email saying the delivery was delayed yet again this time till Aug 2nd, 3 weeks later than originally scheduled.I talked to an agent online and was told to put my trash out on the curb in bags and that i would need to supply my own container marked Recyling for recyling to be picked up.
