I have been going to JC Penny and have an awesome stylist by the name of Marlene. I have been to other salons and no one does my hair the way she does. I am not from the Marlborough area but the last couple of times Ive made the trip to the mall I have been a walkin customer to the JCP salon. I have never had to wait more than 10 min, but I am there midday and weekdays. Ive had different stylists but have received very good cuts. They have great products too.
Brought my child in for a haircut a few months ago. The stylist did a great job making a layered bob short haircut and listened to me about what I needed (I needed an angle on hair at sides of face due to my young child chewing their long piece of hair if it fell into their mouth.) I went in when they had a promotional price for the haircuts for kids, but their regular price is also reasonable. Actually cheaper than a non mall chain I visited another time. They have an online booking system which is easy to use. I recommend trying JCP for price and convenience of booking and the hair stylist working evening week days.
