Strand Salon & Spa, established in 1983, has been a leader in style and beauty for many years. The salon, which started as a 300sq. feet space, has grown into a 2,500sq. foot full-service salon and day spa, boasting a large, loyal clientele. The salon's mission is to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by helping them look and feel their best. One satisfied client went to Julia for a balayage, expressing initial nervousness about going from dark brown box dye to light brown. Had an excellent experience at Stand Salon & Spa about 2 months ago. Lina was wonderful, she did a great job and we had great conversation. I would most definitely recommend this Salon and especially Lina!
Went to Julia for a balayage, was a bit nervous to go from dark brown box dye to light brown but she killed it!!! So so worth the money, highly recommend seeing her. Very clean and modern looking salon. Thank you Julia !!!!
I got married at Lakeview Pavilion this summer and did wedding hair/makeup at the Strand Salon for me and a few family members. I cannot recommend them enough!! First of all, Brittney was so responsive and flexible about scheduling, helping me schedule my trials and being so unbelievably understanding as the number of appointments grew and shrank leading up to the wedding. We had our appointments inside the salon because we had a relatively small group and didn't want to deal with finding an appropriate space in one of the hotels. We are so glad we did--- It feels so warm and welcoming inside the salon, and we even were able to put out a breakfast food spread during the appointments! Brittney did our hair for the wedding day (we also got great blowouts/curls from Marisa and Michaela the day before!) and she is amazing---she is so so talented, and our hair stayed completely perfect for our entire 14+ hour event. Everyone had such different hair types and styles and everyone told me they got exactly what they were hoping for, if not far better! Nicole did our makeup and we similarly could not be more impressed! She knew exactly how to handle all of our concerns and made sure that everyone loved their look. We all just couldn't stop looking in the mirror! Just like our hair, the makeup did not budge throughout the day, even though we were in a hot and humid environment! Not only are all of the folks at Strand wonderfully talented, they are also just so nice!! It's very reasonably priced to boot---it felt like an absolute steal given the skill and attentiveness of everyone there. I can't imagine a better place to kick off a wedding!
