After getting a not bad but lackluster haircut at roosters once before(even though I’ve gotten many great ones) I told Christopher I was dissatisfied the last time (with a differnt barber) and he assured me that he would make things right. He did a fantastic job one of the best haircuts I’ve got in a very long time. You can tell he actually cares about his job And his shop. Highly recommend roosters and Christopher for your barber .
My curly hair was a mess and I needed to get a haircut so I chose a random place to get a haircut and ended up at roosters. Got set up with Tyler who was professional, attentive to detail and gave a good haircut. I would recommend to anyone ??
I have frequented this location over the course of the last 2 years and have had haircuts/beard trims with several of the stylists there, so I will go over some of the standouts for me: Melanie is my regular at this location, after a temporary hiatus she is back at the chair as of this fall. Melanie is quick and efficient and very good at listening to her client before she does anything to make sure she doesn't take too much or too little off. If communication with your stylist is something you have had problems with elsewhere, look no further than Melanie, as she goes above and beyond to make sure she is on the same page as you before she cuts anything. You can tell she has been doing this for a long time, and it's often reflected in how booked her schedule is. Book well in advance for her if you can. For those with curly hair, I would highly recommend booking with Lucas. Lucas himself specializes in curly haircuts and maintenance. Sporting curls himself, you can tell he cares immensely about maintaining his hair and goes above and beyond to go over techniques for being more effective in your hair treatment as well as recommending products geared to your hair while he is cutting/washing you. If you have curly hair, or are looking to really bring out the volume in your hair Lucas is the way to go. I haven't had that may cuts with Amber, but she is another exceptional stylist at this location and absolutely worth mentioning. She is extremely meticulous when cutting and her attention to detail is worth noting. Amber takes great care to make sure there isn't a hair out of place, most notably when trimming beards. She pays very close attention to her clients while cutting, so if you're someone who worries about getting nicked while being cut, Amber is definitely worth considering. Another stylist absolutely worth considering here is Tyler. If you are somebody that worries about having too much hair taken off, you'll need not worry with Tyler. He takes great care to constantly check in with the client while cutting to ensure shape, size, and thickness is where you want it to be, and even having walked in last minute for an appointment, he has never once made me feel like I was being rushed out. Absolutely worth working with if you can get an appointment with him. An honorable mention as highlighted in prior reviews by other customers is Chris A. While he no longer works at this location, Chris still absolutely deserves all of the praise he got while he was working here. While some of the other reviews here highlight that it may be a little pricey, I think it's absolutely worth noting that you get what you pay for. The stylists at this location are very dedicated to their craft and extremely knowledgeable. One tip I would have for those with a lot of hair, I would advise booking two appointment slots back-to-back to make sure you have enough time for an entire cut, as the appointments are on half-hour intervals. I am a dedicated customer to this location, and I will continue to take my business here so long as I am in the area.
