I would give them less than 1 star if I could. Do me a favor and do yourself a favor - don't give them your business. They don't deserve it. You'd think people who are in this line of work genuinely love animals, at least that's what you'd hope anyway. Well these people, in particular Amy Marder, are full of greed and don't care about the animals only the money. There are so many other companies who are reputable who care about animals and want to help. This company is sadly not one.

We took our dog (lab-pit mix, about 60 lbs) to Dr Marder to help with his reactivity. It was a huge disappointment: a waste of time and money. Before the appointment we were asked to fill in a form that would detail our dog and his issues. The form was poorly designed, with many questions that overlapped so much that we felt we had to repeat comments over and over. Even so, we filled in the forms and submitted them days ahead of our appointment. Then when we got to the appointment, there was only one of the assistants there - we had to cool our jets for at least 15 minutes before she showed up. Obviously that didn't help us or our dog be in the frame of mind for training. When she finally arrived, it was clear that Dr Marder was looking at our completed forms for the first time, so even more time was wasted as we watched her read. But the worst part had today be the actual training. We had previously been to another trainer who used her dog as a foil for our dog to practice with, but Dr Marder just had some big stuffed doll of a dog for the training session. This rendered the training session to be utterly worthless. And because Dr. Marder is disabled, she sat 20 feet away from me, loudly barking out orders at me. My wife was horrified as she watched the travesty. I can't even recall how much this nonsense cost us but it would have paid for us to have dinner at a 4-star restaurant. All I can say is don't waste your time and money with this place.

If i could give less than one I would. DO NOT take your dog here. This is a scam. I didn't even get to the appointment when I realized this lady is not above board. All I needed was a 1 time consultation. Short story: the appoint is for $350 for a 3 month "Treatment" plan. They send you her credentials which sounds great on paper. they are you to fill out a detailed history. They don't read it or interpret what they want from it. After I sent it in, they cancelled my appointment and told me I needed a lawyer. Somewhere along the line the decided my dog bit someone. Once I cleared that up, then they decided I was being evicted and wanted them to represent me. My dog has...read full review
