I cannot recommend Haia enough! As a Muslim woman who wears the hijab, one of the things I appreciate most is how respectful and accommodating she is. She always makes sure I have a private space with a partition so I feel completely comfortable during my appointment. That level of thoughtfulness means so much to me.
Haia truly understands my hair and my lifestyle. She knows exactly what works for my hair type and styles it in a way that accommodates my needs. I’ve only came here for a silk press so I can’t speak about the other services the offer here, but they were really easy to book with online, priced pretty fairly, didn’t leave my hair heat damaged, and to put the cherry on top I am neurodivergent black woman with tender headed 4C hair as such getting my hair done is typically a sensory NIGHTMARE but the team at HK were an absolute DREAM! It was honestly a very calming and relaxing especially after dealing with so many salons in the past who turned me away because of how curly my 4C hair is! As such based off my experience at the salon I would recommend HK and their services!
