We had a wonderful experience at Bulger today with Dr. Canes in the ER. She was warm, kind, and compassionate and really took the time to make sure my dog was ok.
We also see Dr. Prahl who provides excellent internal medicine care. I appreciate that she coordinates care with our regular vet. I feel like we have the greatest veterinary team. Several years I was so impressed with how her team went out of their way to coordinate an endoscopy with a dental (general medicine) to keep my dog from needing anesthesia during multiple visits.
We also had a great experience with Dr. Casiotis in ophthalmology.

Dr. Sawyer was amazing . She explained everything to me thoroughly & to my mother over the phone . She was very empathetic & kind & patient with me (I was a mess; crying), my senior cat was in absolute good hands. I was so anxious she even allowed me to see my cat before they began the procedures on her. Thank you Dr.Sawyer
We were referred to Bulger Veterinary Hospital after our daughter’s dog Jasper was attacked by two Akitas and sustained multiple bite wound lacerations. Needles-to-say, we were very distressed, but the staff could not have been more supportive. He was evaluated quickly, but needed several hours of work to treat his wounds. The staff kept us fully informed, and we were able to take Jasper home that evening. He still has a few return visits needed, but so far he is recovering well. We are so grateful to the vets and staff at Bulger for their excellent care.
