Amazing Eyebrows

I never leave bad reviews, this is a first for me. I came to this location last night (Friday) hoping to see Pria. She is stunning and from India descent and knew how to take care of naturally thick eyebrows. The woman who sat was an angry middle aged woman with thin eyebrows. I had a bad feeling as soon as she snapped at me and told me to sit down after I hesitated. I became more uneasy when I realized her thin eye brows were natural and not on purpose. I didn't want to judge and figured well, she doesn't need them to know how to clean them. While she was snapping at me to hold my brows I kept telling her, "please don't make them too thin, I want to keep them thick and just cleaned up." who asks for thin eyebrows anymore? She kept saying " yes we just clean them up and follow your eyebrow shape." As i felt her keep going, I could feel her shaping my eyebrows and cutting far too into them. On top of that she coughed over me without even covering her mouth. When I pushed her away from me and sat up and saw how thin and uneven they were I tried every part of me to hold back my shock and other emotions. I asked why she made them so thin. She had a satisfied look on her face and in a voice like a jealous 12 year old girl said "you didn't say anything!" pretending she didn't even respond earlier to my request to keep my naturally thick eyebrows clean and feigning ignorance to what she actually had done. I didn't allow her to gas light me and said to her, " I kept telling you I don't want them thin and to just clean them up. Do you not ask customers what they like before doing them?" She snapped again and said " We don't do that here." I knew she was lying because that's what Pria always did. I could tell she hated being there but I figured I would give her a chance and it wasn't personal. It became personal when I realized she felt entitled to be rude and take out her frustration for working on a Friday night on me. I should have trusted my gut when she snapped at me the first time. Then I remembered another customer had mentioned the owner there and some other women were very abusive to customers and did not do a good job. I can't believe i had to add fighting a threading beautician to stay away from my face to my list of bully's, but next time I will!

I came here for an impromptu eyebrow cleaning prior to an event. The person that did my eyebrows was nice and her tinting was ok. They don't put the thread in the mouth to hold it taut but it is still VERY unsanitary. As in tools that were just used will be reused on you. I didn't realize she hadn't changed them until after I was halfway done. Thankfully didn't get a staph infection here but I can't recommend.

This threading spot at the Holyoke Mall was pretty cool! From check in to getting my eyebrows done 'in a blink of an eye'- the experience was so smooth/ efficient! The lady who helped me was great and did an amazing job! Highly recommend GBS Brows and be sure to ask about their loyalty program ;).
