“I cannot say enough good things about Julie and Jon Val Hair Salon in Groveland.
After moving from Boston, I searched everywhere for a new hairdresser and kept running into places that felt overly salesy. Constant upselling, flashy extras, and an experience that felt more like retail than hair care. I was looking for a true professional. Someone who really knows hair and lets the work speak for itself.
Julie is exactly that.
She is bright, positive, and genuinely kind. She is so easy to talk to and makes every appointment feel relaxed and comfortable. You can chat the whole time and she is right there with you. I actually look forward to going in.
Most importantly, she does an incredible job on my hair. Her cuts grow out beautifully. Even months later my hair still looks intentional and polished, which says everything about her skill. No gimmicks, no bells and whistles, just consistently excellent work.
The salon itself is welcoming and classic without feeling outdated, and there is always plenty of parking, which is such a bonus.
If you are looking for a talented, no-nonsense hairdresser who truly knows what they are doing and makes the experience enjoyable every single time, Julie is it. I am so grateful I found her.”
“From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and super friendly. I felt completely comfortable and at ease, which is so important for a waxing appointment.
Everything was clean and professional. Jessica is so kind, efficient, and clearly experienced. She walked me through the process, checked in throughout, and made it as quick and painless as possible.”
