“We recently brought back Dunn Landscaping for their second job of a significant size, (their first job was to repair the driveway and front walkway after an addition was done prior to their work.) A. Remove an old, cracking cement slab that used to be the edge of a pool for previous owners of our home, and replace it with a patio constructed from pavers, along with a stone firepit.
B. Reconstruct all the underground drainage beneath the yard
Despite numerous setbacks due to both weather, and the discovery of a structural issue with the corner of the house that touched the new patio, they completed the job more or less on time, and more importantly, never once sacrificed quality for speed. The entire crew was very professional, extremely meticulous, and any time anything unexpected from our original plan happened, they were conscientious and thoughtful, taking the time to explain the choices we had in terms of how to proceed, and never once pressuring us to take a more expensive option.
Relative to the amount of people on site, the scope of the job and amount of materials, as well as the inflation from the last few years, the price was very fair - I'm skeptical that anyone would've done it for a less expensive price, and even if they could, I don't believe the outcome would've been nearly as good. It is clear from the communication and craftsmanship that the whole family at Dunn takes a lot of pride in their work; no one else will be hired to work on my lawn and garden for as long as they are in business.”
