I have always experienced okay care here (never great care, but never so badly that I would find a new provider). I can say my assigned PCP was Dr. Christiansen, but I never enjoyed seeing her for my appointments because she just came across as uncaring and not very thorough. As a result, I would see NPs whom usually had a better bedside manner. However, towards the end of my time in the practice, I was misdiagnosed, by one of the NPs on one of my appointments and I had to return again to see a different NP and pay another copay a week later to get a correct diagnosis and correct medications. No longer a private practice that was Groton Medical Associates, now it's owned by Emerson Health Primary Care (Groton).I mostly only see Dr Goodman on my yearly physicals but I'm happy with the care I receive with all the great nurse practitioners in the group. Usually I can get an appointment the same day.

I’m not one to write reviews but good luck to you if the on call Dr for the night is Dorothy Christiansen and you have an urgent medical concern. The first red flag was she didn’t ask for a name or date of birth. She disregarded our concern, cut us off while explaining ourselves, then proceeds with “If you can’t wait till Monday just go to the emergency room. There’s nothing I can do for you” then hangs up. It would be nice to get some insight before having to pay thousands on an emergency visit.
