The whole team at Collective Cleaners is awesome! I've worked with them for years now, in a few different capacities. Lia is amazingly organized, responsible and responsive; she and Seth have gone above and beyond in helping me do turnovers at the Airbnb I host. It's great to be working with a company that you can trust not only to get the job done right, but to value employees, respect your home and business, and be friendly good humans!
I fully endorse the ideal of a supportive work environment that pays a living wage. I'm also in favor of people who do manual and hands-on work getting the same level of respect and fair treatment as people who do sit-on-your-tush-in-an-office jobs. So I wish I were handing out 5 stars. But the truth is I didn't get good service for the amount I paid--indeed 4 stars feels generous, going by the clean alone.We live in an 1800 sq ft house and are above-average tidy. I eliminated one large bedroom and one of our two bathrooms from the job, and asked for a focus on cleaning the floors. I am no good at keeping house so have hired a number of cleaning services over the decades, but never have encountered a company like Collective Cleaners. Let me just say—WOW! From the moment I first spoke to Lia on the phone, it was clear that this was not your typical one-size-fits-all experience. Instead, these folks went above and beyond in asking detailed questions, learning the particularities of the space (old untreated farmhouse floors are complicated to clean!).
