“Deck upgrade” If I could give UpHomes LLC a 10 rating I would. There are many positive features that I was impressed with when comparing UpHomes to several other contractors while reviewing estimates. Right from the get go during the measure and consult stage, early on, was how attentive and engaging Weber the owner was. Explaining what was needed to do the job. After measurements were taken and we chose our style and color of materials it was less than a week before getting the estimate. What really impressed me about Weber was how quickly he responded to a text or email. Contractors are notorious for poor communication, not Weber. From first visit to actual construction start date was six weeks, half of which was me going through the other estimates. Start date chosen and deck completed in three days. His crew worked tirelessly and were as professional and courteous as you can find. Cleaning up at the end of every day. Another item that impressed me was after the demo phase there were several places rot had been exposed that couldn’t be seen during initial measurements and estimate. It was agreed the damage areas needed repair as well. The extra cost of materials and labor were acknowledged but so very reasonable considering it was the more intricate steps and platform system on both sides of the deck. Although this is the first time hiring UpHomes, it definitely won’t be the last. Already have a couple projects in the works. If you have any home improvements I strongly refer you to UpHomes LLC.
