Dr. Vantosh is great at what she is doing but the admin work there is unprofessional (as far as proper billing and explanation of services). Once I made an eye exam and didn't specify nor was I asked if I wanted to do the additional exam for contacts. It was done and I wasn't aware of this being an additional cost, however, I didn't need the extra assessment; it was simply implied I wanted it. I paid for that and let it go. I had made an appointment here for an eye exam. I had been clear about what I needed and the reason for why I needed an eye exam. My original doctors office was booked until July and I needed an updated prescription so I could purchase glasses online. So I made an appointment here and showed up 10 minutes before my appointment and waited 30 full minutes outside the office for my appointment.After approaching, I had suggested if I should take my contacts out for the exam and they preceded to tell me no with no explanation. Outstanding! The Dr. Is knowledgeable, professional and nice! I'd describe the office as a "homey" feel, not like the big box stores..You matter to them. The office staff is very accommodating, ie insurance..they are just as interested in having you get all the insurance benefits you should be getting as you are! They have a very nice selection of eyeglass frames, and can "get" pretty much anything else that's not right there, like different color etc. BUT!!! The absolute best thing is..they have an "optomap" instrument/machine that takes a picture of the back of your eyes. Not only is it neat to see all that it can detect, it TOTALLY negates the need for those dilation...read full review
