I was a bit hesitant on bringing my 5yr old into Dr.Corin’s office after reading the reviews. Our visit was a follow up after we spent the night in the ER because my child poked himself in the eye pretty badly. We had to see a specialist the following morning. I did a quick google search in my area and the office I called was associated with Dr.Corin. The original office couldn’t see me that day but I was able to get an appointment in Dartmouth later that afternoon. I took the appointment. My child’s dad did a Google search and a lot of one star reviews is all we saw. I told him let’s go in with an open mind and so happy we did. Dr.Corin is very straight to the...read full review
I recently visited Advance Eye and, while the service was adequate, it was far from exceptional. They seem to have plenty of patients, which might explain why there's no effort to go above and beyond. The receptionists were particularly disappointing. Every time I called, it felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued patient. When I went in to pick up my contacts, they didn't even make eye contact and their tone was so passive it felt like I was part of a social experiment. It was an uncomfortable experience, to say the least. While the essential services are delivered, the lack of warmth and professionalism from the staff left me feeling unimpressed. I hope they can work on improving their customer service to match the quality of their medical care.
I am a long term patient of Dr Scott Corin. I have always received great service from him and his staff. He also performed successful cataract surgery on my dad. My dad who is getting up there in his years had a double vision issue. It happened in the early evening and I took him to the ER. He spent 5 hours in the ER and they sent him home with no diagnosis. We went to advanced Eye the next morning and Dr Corin diagnosed him in about 5 minutes. If you have an eye issue go to Advanced Eye.
