Our first surveyor quit, our second one defended his work with our home Owner’s insurance company only to find out after defending his work in the fourth? lawsuit, finally in land court that their approach was not the best. Our mortgage title insurance did not cover our defense costs and we understand how difficult this is going back more than a hundred years when surveyors used 4’ metal rods. Telephone polls, roads, granite markers, fences, our lot’s home foot print and driveways all shifted.
