Shady company. Asked for an estimate over the phone, was told it would be free. Instead a service person shows up and starts doing work even though I explicitly asked him not to. Then they threaten to send my bill to collections. Avoid this company, very scammy

Called them to service a sprinkler zone early May after I turned my sprinklers on and saw that zone four would not shut off just the way they left it when they blew it out in the fall. The woman that answered was in such a rush put me on hold twice and then didn't let me get out what I needed service for but gave me a date of a month out. June 1. So for a month of I had no sprinkler for zone 4. The day before my appointment I called to confirm what they were actually doing because she had never asked what I needed and reviewed with the employee that it was for a zone issue I also reminded her that my time was 1 to 5 as I was working in the am and she agreed that's what they had marked. The next day came and as the hours ticked by at 3 15 with no sighting from Greenlawn I thought I would call them. the employee that answered told me they came at 8am in the morning and they're not coming back I said my scheduled appointment was 1 to 5 not 8 to 12 she looked it up and agreed I was correct. she called the field employee and they showed up right before their shift ended. he informed me that his work order said 8 AM for a turn on. So let's review they blew out my sprinkler in the fall one zone wouldn't go down they said they would fix it in the spring it's part of the blowout guarantee. Due to all the rain I didn't turn the sprinklers on until May 1 and remembered about the zone so shut them right off and called Greenlawn they said they couldn't come out for a month I told him I had to work and I wanted to schedule the afternoon they said 1 to 5 June 1 and didn't ask what for and hung up. They are in such a rush that they got the time wrong the issue wrong and their own employee that came showed me all of it on his documented work order that they gave him the wrong info and he said if you didn't call I wouldn't of come back. After he left I called Greenlawn and told them of my experience and how disappointed I was with their lack of documentation and time after waiting so long. The person that answered the phone was the same one that made the multiple mistakes and told me to find a different irrigation company she did not want the mirror held up to her of all the mistakes she made. Some people take on more work than they can handle very disappointing.
