Marisa is a wonderful acupuncturist! Very skilled, easy to talk to and relaxing to be around. I have found her to be the best acupuncturist in Jamaica Plain and Highly recommend her!

I had a chronic cold that had turned into an ear infection. Unfortunately I developed a clogged ear that the medication did not clear. I came to Marissa for help. After one treatment my ear unclogged within two days. I found her session to be relaxing and helpful. She showed me strategies to continue to work on the issue while I was traveling. I loved the space and the heated table. She is truly a gifted healer.

My wife reached out to Marisa at Blue Fire Acupuncture after I experienced a hard fall resulting in three broken ribs and two cracked ribs. The broken ribs were extremely painful as the breaks were near the spinal vertebrae.Although skeptical, I was willing to try anything to alleviate the pain and eliminate the need for unwanted medications. Marisa explained that although acupuncture could not heal the ribs themselves it would help my body to relax the muscles around my rib cage and calm my nervous system.She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions before and during my appointment with a calming yet confident professional approach.
