“I suffer from hair loss and I have tried several different treatments. None of those treatments have been truly affective.
From my first consultation with Ms. Chimene, I knew she was the truth. From the way she takes her time to explain some of the root cause of hair loss, and her transparency about other method of treatment, I knew I wanted to give her a try.

“Excellent results and super friendly, professional service without difficulty scheduling a convenient appointment relatively quick; I was offered a same day appointment but wasn't able to make it and was able to get an afternoon appointment for Friday on Wednesday. I advised the salon that I had a Groupon to redeem upon scheduling and was advised that they have an extra charge to blow dry long hair but outside of that, the Groupon would cover everything including the deep conditioning treatment. Nancy was amazing and so sweet. Upon finishing my cut and blow dry, Nancy said I was all set sighting that I had mentioned my hair being long but saying it wasn't that bad, so extra charge for the blow dry that I've been charged extra for the cut when my hair was shorter (extra fee for long hair was the reason) which I shared with Nancy as I thanked her. She also shared prices for services without a Groupon which are more than reasonable at $25 for a wash and trim(no blow dry) but now that she's seen what I like, I'm okay going without the blowout next time plus the conditioning treatment is a $20 charge which is optional but a great value. Definitely found my new go to hairdresser. The salon was quiet but not uncomfortable and likely due to the gloomy, rainy conditions on a Friday at rush hour but it worked out well for me.“

From the beginning our stylist Cheryl brought in Danielle and Nicole to come up with a game plan in order to salvage as much of my sister’s hair as possible. From there Cheryl, who ended up sticking with us from beginning to end, and Danielle tackled what seemed like an impossible task. “I have been having issues with not being able to go to a salon a second time and receiving the same level of service, so I waited to write this review. I am happy to report my hair turned out well yet again!

About the shop:
They have a small seating area with a nice couch and WiFi while you wait.

I have seen people get weaves and extensions done there, but for me it was just getting my natural hair braided, though I could have had it twisted as well, or flat ironed.

The location is on the 2nd floor and does not have a ton of parking, but it is nice. There are tons of snacks and drinks- chips, chocolates, candies, coffee, creamers, juice, soda, water, and a bathroom down the hall.

Make sure you can handle stairs as their is no elevator. Also the shop is sort of separated into two so folks on one side are likely watching something different from the folks on the other side as there are two different televisions screens, so bring a book or other materials of your own on your phone with earbuds in case you don't like what is being played.

There are 2 wash stations, but for a small place it feels much larger. I am not chatty. I am a get in the chair and get out sort of girl, but if you want to have a chat you can.

I would recommend. The only thing I didn't like was the loud trash talk I overheard towards the end of my hair being done with the stylist and customer commiserating and it was directed at another customer. But like I said, earbuds. I like a job well done and this was.

The only reason they did not get more stars was because I don't feel like she used enough leave-in moisturizer in my hair, and she abruptly left for like 10 min.“
