Betsy Hynes Photography, LLC is an award-winning photographer on the south shore that specializes in posed newborn photography, serving Boston, the north shore, the south shore, and the Cape Cod area. Betsy is a full-service portrait photographer with extensive newborn training in her 10th year of business. She believes in creating heirloom artwork that blends into each client's lifestyle and home decor, to be passed down to future generations. Sessions take place in her Braintree studio where clients have access to her extensive collection of props, backdrops, and accessories. The studio also offers child, family, and high school senior portrait sessions. Betsy is described as the "BEST" with the "patience of a saint" and an "amazing" and "gifted" photographer who creates "quality art" and personalized newborn photos. Clients praise her bubbly, sweet, and welcoming personality that makes them feel very comfortable.
Betsy provided exceptional service for my daughter’s senior photo shoot.
She was very communicative, punctual, and informative about the process as well as payment options. Her knowledge of area locations and best times/conditions for a photo shoot at certain places were greatly appreciated too.
We were thrilled with the final product, which included multiple outfit changes, different backgrounds, and overall such a fun experience for my daughter!
Her prices are reasonable and within the standard range for the South Shore area.
I discovered Betsy's work when searching for Newborn Portraiture before the birth of my Daughter, and I instantly knew the moment I saw her work that she was going to be selected to capture the most precious keepsakes for my little family.
I was elated to see that her specialty was Newborn Portraiture, and I can see why--Betsy has such a niche at capturing the most heartfelt moments.
I also felt comfortable allowing her to work her magic without my immediate presence which speaks volumes of her character.
We returned for my daughters one year old photoshoot/cake smash, and yet again, just so pleased with the results.

I had an amazing experience with Betsy Hynes Photography yesterday. She was beyond excellent with my boys. She beautifully engaged my 4-year-old and got my sleepy big boy to bring just the right energy and calm to the session. With my newborn, it was pure magic watching her work. The flow of the artist was highly professional, but I loved watching her get inspired. With a few pat pats of her knee, that accompanied the white noise in the room, she would come up with the next inspiration and flow from shot to shot like so. Incredibly thankful. I can’t wait to see the results!
