To be honest, we haven't even started services yet and it's already been a terrible experience.
Three angry/urgent calls with one (two? can’t tell?) rude intake coordinator(s) who have dismissed any requests for e-mail/clarification and turned nasty and hung up when their 2.5 minute time limit was reached. They are DEMANDING that I schedule an appointment for A CHILD, but cannot name the clinician. They have outright REFUSED a parent meeting prior to the appointment; not even a phone call. His current therapist has recommended a therapeutic transition plan/session to help with continuous care; I even asked if we could pay for the meeting ourselves as a consult. Still...read full review
If I could give them zero stars I would. The past year it’s been hell dealing with these people. Multiple doctors have left and never kept me up to date. 1 doctor kept cancelling on me for over a year and had to fight with them to see a new one. That new doctor never pushed my prescription through. So now back on the phone fighting with them. The people running the place shouldn’t even be running a dental office never mind a mental health facility. I think they believe I am going there just for fun.
A heavy looming dark cloud of unprofessionalism & smugness has settled for a long time over Aspire. If sunlight ever shown through- it would be considered a hassle to have to deal with those rays of spotlights. In other words, you don't have to believe everything Aspire tells you. Be true to yourself. Very important to get 2nd opinion on your meds but not from your therapist. Your therapist is not a licensed prescriber. Remember the heavy dark cloud. Try asking your primary care or the pharmacist for help with that. It's either sink or swim at Aspire so we must advocate for ourselves. I would not recommend anyone to seek treatment at Aspire.
