“The actual best! My son is 2 and we got him a haircut and we got him an appointment with Justin directly for one of his sensory cuts and I honestly can't say enough amazing things. My son's entire appointment went so amazing, from scheduling his appointment online, talking to Justin about my son's personality, Justin approaching my son in a way that didn't make my son feel scared or like something major was about to happen, the way my son was willing to allow Justin into his space and interact with him, that was absolutely amazing in itself! Watching Justin connect with my son and figure out what was going to work best for him, watching my son let Justin connect with him and let him cut his hair was was an absolute blessing! When I scheduled the appointment I told Justin that I wasn't coming into this with high expectations, or any at all really! It was just about getting my son familiar and hoping that Justin could at least clean some of his hair from his face so he could see better and eat without chewing on his hair! I would've been MORE THAN HAPPY with just that! But to my complete surprise, Justin was able to give him an entire haircut and I just couldn't even believe it! It was so amazing, I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience, my son was happy with his experience, my husband was happy, Justin was a miracle worker and a saint lol the way he followed my son ALL OVER HIS ENTIRE SHOP cutting and trimming as my very active 2 year old just ran circles was so funny and so heartwarming to watch. I seriously cannot express how happy I am with our experience at axe to grind and with Justin. We drove almost an hour to see Justin, and I will continue to drive that hour every 4-5 weeks! It was so worth it and I will stand by that. I'm so proud of my sweet boy and so grateful for Justin and his passion for what he does and his love for and patience with children! I'm definitely a happy Mama!“
