The owner, Dr Tim Foster was very cutting edge when he opened his practice, decades ago. That, combined with all his years of added experience puts him above almost all other practices. His associate, Dr Irene Papamitrou, is kind and gentle with our pets and has been at the practice for many years, so she is also quite experienced. The techs and front desk staff are also competent and experienced, so this longevity is great and means everyone at the entire practice really knows your pets and you. I cannot recommend Shepherd Vet enough. Wonderful people that have such love and care for animals of all sizes! We have 2 older cats, a 3 year old lab, and a new lab puppy. Each appointment is thorough and informative. Dr. Foster and his team take great care of our family - we are grateful for everyone at Shepherd Vet!
Dr. Halverson and Dr. Foster have both treated my very ancient dogs. Tipper passed at 18 years old under Dr. Halverson's care and I cannot stress enough how respectful and necessary her counseling was through those end days to ensure we kept Tippers comfort first.Dr. Foster stayed on the phone with me extensively, to make sure I completely understood each decision we made in testing and treating my 12 year old Malinois that continues to thrive with Shepherd Family clinic in his corner.This vet is 100% the best vet in the area. Hands down. 10,000 stars. Even Jen at the front desk is the kindest person in the world. I trust each employee there completely.
