Hanshi Steve is an excellent teacher, he is very patient and very patient. His staff Sensei Dawn and Sensei Janine are both great and make us feel at ease. My daughter has a developmental and behavioral disability and yet we were accepted with open arms and would definitely recommend them for kids to develop more confidence and discipline.

UPDATE : It has been more than two years since I left the first review and my feelings on The Dojo have only grown stronger and more positive. My son is now closing in on his Black Belt and we could not be happier to have taken this journey with Steve and Janine. Even through the struggles of the pandemic, solutions and options were always available for training and advancement. Now as things return to normal The Dojo has only grown more popular and new students seem to be arriving every week. As a relative newbie on my first formal visit to a martial arts class, I was humbled by the warm reception I received. The students were very patient with me and they threw me (figuratively) right into the mix. I had a blast and I'm looking forward to my next visit!
