Chris and John were very thorough with cleaning the chimney today. Once done, they explained what they had found, and showed me the before and after pictures. I hadn't had the chimney cleaned for a couple years, so the creosote was a little thicker than it should have been. Chris suggested using an additive with fires so that the creosote will be much easier to breakdown and clean off next year.
I highly recommend Ultimate Chimney Sweep! I've been hiring them for years!
Chris and his partner were quick, efficient. They answered all my questions, and were not pushy on an estimate for a new cap. They left my home cleaner then when they arrived and were respectful of my working from home. 10/10 will recommend to everyone!
Ultimate has been cleaning the three flues of our house for years. Our dryer vent has been done as well. The company itself is responsive and appointments have been readily available. The techs are polite, professional and knowledgeable. They arrive as scheduled and work efficiently. You are given a full report which contains photos of the exterior chimney as well as the condition of the flue. Today I learned why it’s better to shred old documents and paperwork rather than start your wood stove with them! Highly recommended company.
