“Amelia has had my trust for several years, but today I gave her quite the challenge. I’m 65, going gray, but not there yet. I wanted color to smooth the transition. Once again, this color master did not disappoint! She expertly placed foils throughout my very dark hair so that as the gray shows up (curse you! lol) the color difference will be seamless. I was thrilled with the results and highly recommend her for any color need. The Brunette Rose is a beautiful salon in downtown Amesbury that definitely deserves a visit!“

“Working with Sharon on my wedding day was wonderful! She did a fantastic job with all my bridesmaids and my mother (who was very particular about what she wanted) and was able to deliver what everyone envisioned without batting an eye. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, and on the wedding day I decided to change my style a bit from what we agreed upon at the trial - she knew what I wanted immediately! It came out better than I could’ve envisioned. She is a great person to have in your corner on your wedding day; I had the most fun and relaxing morning! Everyone’s hair stayed in during windy outdoor photos, the entire wedding & reception and the after party (even the after-after party!).“

I have changed nail salons, brow threaders, doctors, dentist and just about all my other services, but I have continued to make the trek to see Scott. He is an extremely talented individual and I get compliments on my hair just about daily. Scott will listen to your wants and needs, like the time I cut a foot off of my hair for an oh so chic Bob, but for the most part he takes the reins and keeps my style with the trends and flowing with the seasons. “I love this place. I have been a customer for over 5 years now. They helped me out when my son was pulling his hair out of his scalp about 5 years ago (thank goodness that stopped) and again when my daughter somehow got wall decor stuck in her hair. If not for this place my daughter would have lost most of her hair. The staff was determined to save her hair and worked tirelessly to extract the wall decor. It took at least a few hours. I will be forever thankful. I stopped spending money at more expensive places and now get my hair cut and colored here and have not looked back. I love the upbeat and friendly staff.
