BEST EVER!!! For the extensive backyard patio project at our Berkshires home this summer, we could not have found a more professional, competent, and courteous contractor than Pandolfi Landscape Construction. From the initial planning and cost estimate over the winter, to the sourcing of materials and computer software aided design in the spring, to the start of the work in July, to the completion of the project in late August, the owner of the company, Nick was 100% dedicated and responsive to all my needs. This was a once-in-a-lifetime improvement project for my family, and I am very happy we found Pandolfi Landscape Construction. The scope of the work included the installation of an approximately 850 sf. natural stone patio, a 13’x7’ pre-cast concrete plunge pool, an outdoor kitchen with fieldstone veneer, a gas-fed fire pit, landscape lighting, outdoor sound system, drainage excavation/pipe installation, and plants/shrubs. The professionalism and expertise of Nick, Gene, Jake and their crew was evident right from the start as they moved thousands of tons of fill to level the severely pitched area off the back of my house. As the work progressed from one stage to the next, I couldn’t be more impressed. They took the time to go over the details of the installation every step of the way, and when necessary made recommendations for improvements. When it came to dealing with sub-contracted vendors and local building inspectors, Nick handled them without issue and with true professionalism. The experience and creativity that Gene brought to the details of the hardscape and landscape installation was just amazing…we love how he incorporated the existing boulders found during the excavation into our planting beds! Over the approximately eight weeks this summer, these guys worked tirelessly through the hottest of days…and they were kind and courteous each and every day. We got to know a lot about them during that period of time, and felt like they became part of our family! On the final day of the project, Nick (along with his wife and kids), Gene, and the crew ceremoniously presented me with a fieldstone plaque in recognition of my 36 years of service with the FDNY! The perfect ending to an absolutely wonderful experience! We have enjoyed our new patio and pool for about two months now and couldn’t be happier. I personally know how hard it is to achieve five stars and I can say, without question, that Pandolfi Landscape Construction is a five-star outfit.
