About St. Francis Urgent Care - West Monroe
St. Francis Urgent Care provides prompt and professional medical services without the need for appointments. Patients appreciate the excellent care and understanding from the entire staff, who take the time to listen and help them feel better. The staff is great, very courteous, caring, and kind. The facility is a good place to go when you just don't want to go to the ER. It is a great place to go when sick or for an emergency, and they are great with teens and young women's needs. Once patients are seen, the doctor is super cool and very knowledgeable, doing exactly what a doctor should do. The facility also offers occupational health services, making it a reliable choice for both individual and employer health needs.
From walking in, speaking to the receptionist, to the nurse who checked my vitals and finally the ARNP who LISTENED to me and actually gave me a thorough exam. I am very satisfied with my care and treatment in West Monroe. I came here, 30 miles from my home, because the St Francis urgent care clinic on Tower Dr in Monroe treated me with such rudeness and disrespect! I will NEVER use that clinic again and I had used it many times over the last 5 years. Kudos to West Monroe for such a great, caring staff.
I first called ahead to make sure that they accepted our specific insurance, a question I'm sure could have been answered by one of the prompts but my phone kept cutting out and I couldn't hear what they covered (phone's fault not theirs) so I called through to the front desk. The receptionist (shout out Cassie/Casey you're the best!) was so sweet with me and answered my question anyway instead of telling which prompt to hit like she could have. We got here as walk-ins and were promptly checked in. There were quite a few people in the lobby in front of us so we anticipated a good wait but the flow was quicker than we thought it would be. Woke up feeling horrible. My primary doctor always has a full calender, so didn't know what to do! Then decided to go to St. Francis Urgent Care by Brookshires in West Monroe. So thankful to have one of these close by!! Checked me out, called in prescriptions and I was on my way!
